Green River Expedition

In July 2008, a team of scouts and adults from Troop 1020 and Venturing Crew 1020 embarked on a trip to Moab, Utah for a 52 mile canoe float on the Green River through the Canyonlands National Park.

Along the way they visited Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado; Arches National Park, Utah; Dinosaur Journey Museum, Frutila, Colorado; San Isabel National Forest, Colorado; and Palo Duro Canyon State Park, Texas.

It was an exciting and fun-filled trip with a climactic 5 day, 4 night canoe paddle through Canyonlands to the confluence of the Green and Colorado Rivers.

Below are some links regarding the trip.
